This years parade and festival is built on producing a
quality, inclusive and entertaining event at Discovery Meadow on West San Carlos St. at Woz Way
near downtown San Jose. Family Day,
is Saturday, June 14, with free admission to the festival grounds,
activities for
children, and performances by local entertainers. Sunday, June
15, will begin with the annual parade, and continue with top
entertainers performing throughout the day at the festival grounds.
Last years parade and festival drew close to 15,000 in
attendance from the Silicon Valley area. |

a crescendo the last weekend in June with the official SF
Pride Celebration. Vendors, artists, performers and musicians
begin reveling the crowds on Saturday afternoon. The next
morning, the roar of 500 motorcycles heralds the start of
the Pride Parade, a dazzling cavalcade of diversity. Join
us for two days of music, food and fun... all for FREE! No
tickets are needed and no one is turned away for lack of funds.

of 20th & K Streets! The success of the Rainbow Festival is
due largely to an atmosphere of merriment and revelry, combined
with pride in ourselves and our community. The event is an
excellent outlet for politically-oriented groups as well as
those concerned with pure fun and leisure.

the Castro Community. Proceeds are earned directly from YOU

food and beverages, arts and crafts, and a wide variety of
retail items. Dozens of community organizations promote community
and social support. Non-stop outdoor dancing pavilions are
one of the most popular features of the Fair!
